Nice

Well this gives me a great feel of running toward the center of some cave where the final boss in a video game lives and aims to kill you from as well making it rather interesting I think. The tune just carries a true boss feel to it making it sound rather awesome to me I think.

The synth is pretty great and I like how it changes from feeling fast to slowing down a bit and giving a feel of hope as you rush to the center of it all. The drums are rapid and give a feel of having to run there before they can get away as well. The bass line is smooth and thick which is great to hear.

Overall, very nice boss like song.

Thanks! I'm really happy that I managed to paint the picture I wanted to with this piece.

Bowser?

Kind of makes me think of the ghost houses from Super Mario World actually which is not too awful bad I think and makes it even better I think. Gives a foreboding feel of something coming real soon to take you down while the ghost still chase after you.

The fast paced sounding xylophone thing gives a feeling of needing to run I think. The piano gives a feel that you could probably leave at any time as well. The trumpets make me think of Earthbound strangely which I doubt is what you were aiming for either. The song just gives a strange feel of boss battles and ghosts strangely.

Overall, pretty strange feeling to me.

Calmness~

Well this has a very calm feel to it as if you were beginning to see good things happening in everyone's life and wondering what more there was that was going to be happening in life too. The tune is calm and reminds me of a lot of old RPG video games as well which is pretty cool anyways I think at least.

The ambient synth sounds very calming and really nice on the ears I think. The drums are glitched which makes them pretty cool I think and very nice. The bass is very deep and calm. The synth is very strange feeling yet really nice at the same time too I think. The beat is very calming.

Overall, very nice beat, also kind of makes me think of Resident Evil 1 save room for some reason as well strangely.

Good song

This seems to be a calm rock song and I like it as well. You seem to give a good feel to it and it sort of feels like there is a bit of a classical song hidden as a reference in there as well which is pretty cool I think. The song remains calm for the most part though.

The bass is very nice and I like how it maintains a bouncing feel to it. The guitar is very nice to hear and I like that too. The synth is pretty nice and I also liked the piano that played with it as well.

I like how it calmed down for a bit and then began picking up a slightly new beat and the simple drum sound is very smooth and nice to hear on this one too. The guitar was nice when it picked up and helped the rest of the song change the beat it carried a bit as well.

Overall, very cool song, like how it seems to change every now and then though.

Pretty good I think

Well the build up is kind of dull but I like how it gets to sounding cooler a few seconds later though so it all works out I think. The song itself is very nice on the ears and I like how it just seems to get you pretty much pumped up and ready to sweat and party all night as well too I think. Calming then dancing!!

The synth sounds really awesome and makes me think it's just one really long synth solo the whole time as well which works out well too. The secondary synth gives a siren like feel like you are being alerted that it is time to get on the dance floor and partaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

The liquid bass is really cool here as well and I like how it works out too. The drums are cool and very simple as well so nice work there.

Overall, great party song.

Now, the only thing we need is a party. :P
The build up will be fixed, because it is dull, really.

Thank you for this great review.

Great

Well I like the calmness here and it reminds me of really old video games as well. It almost loops perfectly as well which is pretty cool I think so not too bad on that part anyways.

The xylophone sounds very lighthearted and very nice on the ears as well. The piano is calming and helps you get ready for action. The triangle gives a feeling of someone smiling as well. The light bass effects are great too.

Overall, perfect loop and classy.

Final Fantasy

Not sure why but it seems to have a quirky nature that reminds me of Final Fantasy VIII actually which I guess is pretty cool anyways. The tune kind of makes me think you are watching a montage of different things going on to help create the beat to this song which is pretty cool anyways. Very nice yet quirky piece too.

The turning sound thing was cool and made me think of someone sharpening a pencil while the breaths make me think of someone trying to catch their breath for a moment before moving along. The tribal drums are pretty cool and give a really smooth feeling beat and atmosphere to the song too.

The chorus is very nice and gives an angelic feel to the song. The synth is very nice here and I like how it kind of gets up and then calms back down again which is pretty nice. Really like how the chorus seems to get a bit more intense feel as the song moves on and then calms right back down a lot too.

Overall, strange yet cool.

megakill responds:

Well, although I didn't once think of Final Fantasy while making this, I am a huge FF fan, so, it's all good.

And yeah, the drums/percussion was one of the main things I focused on. The sounds making up the beat include but are not limited to, a person breathing, crickets chirping and a wrench of some kind turning.

I figured I'd play around with unconventional sounds and see what happens. I'll probably do it again sometime too.

Thanks for the review! I'm glad you liked it!

Chill and calm

Well I like how this beat gives a happy feel of a couple walking down the street hugging each other while wielding swords to keep the place safe at the same time. The tune just has a nice upbeat momentum to it that doesn't really seem to fall which is fantastic to hear I think. Very nicely put together piece.

The guitar sounds nice here and I wonder, did you actually play it? The synth is very nice and happy feeling and I like how at certain parts it feels like the synth and guitar were lined up perfectly to create a harmonized beat. The bass is very nice and soft. I like how soft the drums also play so very nice work there.

Overall, very calm and happy piece of work, I like it.

Thanks for the review! And no, I did not record any instruments for this track, as this track is the produce of a written piece in Guitar Pro 6.

Tense

Kind of gives me a feeling of traveling among clouds really fast in an old video game which is pretty cool anyways as it gives a great rushing feel as the tune also feels slightly cheesy at times too. Really cool video game beat, would not mind seeing it used in a video game either.

The synth part is great and very bouncy. The ambient synth gives even more of a retro feel to it too. The bass is pretty thick and very nice on the ears in my opinion. The drums are also cool and I love how they change with the rhythm too. Very nice.

Overall, pretty sweet 8-bit song. I like it.

Zombies

Have no idea but parts of this remind me of the first Resident Evil game a lot since I recognize a few sounds here from songs in the original game too. The song kind of makes you feel like you need to be very cautious as you keep moving forward in the city now being over run by the zombies that simply want flesh.

Luckily you have modified your handguns with silencers so killing one will not garner you very much attention. As you walk by one street, you see your once best friend has become one of them feasting on the flesh of someone they recently chased down and ate.

You keep going forth hoping that you can escape the city before the night is over or simply hope this is all a bad dream. Having pinched yourself a few times you know this nightmare is real and indeed not just a bad dream at all. You keep pushing yourself to go forth, trying to find an exit to what feels like a doomed city wasteland.

The windy part of the song gives a feel of screams being carried through the air letting you know another person is dying. The ambient sounds hear give a feel of deep fear as you move along as well. The drums give the dynamic feel that there is terror behind every building and inside every building as well.

Overall, very well done song, almost sounds like something you would hear in a zombie horror survival game.
