I recall making characters on this years ago, would waste around half an hour trying to make a character design that I did like. Nice to see people still enjoying this character creator gadget years later.

Can be a bit difficult to keep the streak going after awhile, I did find this to be a fun game though. For whatever reason, I did find one odd bug that seemed really difficult to trigger. If you click or hit the spacebar a moment or two as the bar goes out of the circle, it gives an X but does not count as a game over. I tried to get it a second time and never managed to recreate the glitch.

The music is nice, I imagine it speeds up as the game gets faster to challenge the player as well as throw them off a little bit too.

The medals work and the secret medal took a few minutes to figure out. Only hint for it wait on the "XX streak" game over / end game screen.

Fun game, would not mind more music based games like this.

This game seems pretty mixed overall for everything.

The audio seems both good and yet bad.

The good being the footsteps fit the pacing yet enemies do not seem to make noise from what I notice. The calm music on the starting screen is nice too. The sound of square bullets hitting foes reminds me of old retro video games too.

The bad being the music for the main level itself just seems really odd, at least to me it does.

The gameplay while I do see you did update it still seems a bit frustrating. Not going to give a low score mainly because I realize this is not exactly my type of game. It is fun if you can get the handle of things though.

The graphics are retro and remind me of some other older games I have played on Newgrounds over time. Simplicity in style is sometimes the best way to go when making a game. :)

Overall, seems mixed but it is not bad. Just seems to be a game that takes a little time to get used to.

It is not a bad test game except a few things make it bothersome to play:

- The title screen lacks a "Play" button, it just jumps straight to the game after around 10 - 15 seconds
- The only way to win the game is to spam clicking the character to eat all the cookies in 10 seconds
- The ending screens lack a "Replay" button
- The game is improperly sized, there is a lot of blank space

While the first three I can overlook and do not mind, I think in the future, you just need to spend a couple of minutes to test and make sure the dimensions of the game are correct so you do not have a lot of empty space.

Best of luck with future games. :)

Interesting game, seems like there was a bit of anxiety added in as one of their characteristics since anxiety and / or depression can cause one to feel like not leaving their room or really wanting to do anything. I am glad that the character started to feel better in the end and started to take better care of themselves.

Seems really short but I think there is a story outside of this game waiting to be told for this character. I feel this is more of an emotional exploration short-piece than a game, that's my opinion though.

Not a bad game but it does have some flaws needing to be worked out:

- Tree graphics look like they were copied and pasted along with messy.
- No save points, it is one long level but a save point every 1/3rd of the way would be nice at least

The music and other graphics were not bad. The controls do not feel clunky. The platforming can be a bit difficult at times though. Took a little time to finish the level itself. Hope future games are improved.

The game feels like it has the potential to be much more. As a few other reviews have pointed, after a certain point, you just end up waiting for a bit and the game stops being a challenge at all.

The graphics were nice. The game play was alright, nothing too interesting or anything that would make me want to replay the game for a second time sadly. The end result screen shows the princesses come to like the dragon I guess?

Overall, fun game but can become boring after a bit.

Pretty good game, wrote this review out while playing through the game.

During the prologue, there is a grammar error:

" transform the house in a rat colony" should be "transform the house into a rat colony."

During the overall game, the mouse should made a few pixels smaller, just my opinion. Feels like it takes up a bit of a space to me.

In the upper left room of the house, the book about Tempo speeds repeats the second page onto an entirely new page. Was it meant to be two or three pages? Or was the third page meant to be other notes?

In Yorick's bedroom - in his diary on April 19th:

"put a security door to the tower probably he was" should be "put a security door to the tower; probably he was" for the sentence.

After that, had a little difficulty completing the game before consulting your walk-through. Very well made game and I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into this game. :D

Nirag responds:

Thank you very much for the review!
And thank you for the feedback, too, I'll look into those things! :)

Seems like a rather pointless game, there are times the game seems broken as well. In stage 3, at the end of the second platform you have to jump before you get to the end of it or you die and get a screaming sound effect that goes on for far too long. Do you plan to try improving graphics and gameplay in the future?

VladoChemist responds:

Thank you for your review. As for level three there are spikes on the end of the second platform that can kill you. This is actually an improved version of touch the red circle, which got removed. I dont plan on changing anything about this game because i only made it to test out the engine im using and improve my skills. Im gonna keep making better games in the future and i hope ill improve

This game is a really early pre-alpha build I am guessing? That being said, it will need a lot of cleaning up before it starts to look better (and hopefully that can be submitted for people to review and give feedback on as well.)

Pros:

- Kind of fun to play but can be frustrating
- The background moves while you move, do not see that too often, looks good

Cons:

- There is a lack of any music, sound effects, or background noise at all
- Clunky controls, there are times you can be a few pixels off and still kill the enemies or you end up hitting a ceiling that you cannot see and die.
- Background graphics are really obvious rips as they are not cleaned up at all and just seem messy
- The end level icon seems pretty unfitting for the game
- Character's standard pose seems really strange and like they are only looking downward the whole time

Hope this review helps and that in the future, you two can improve a lot on your game.

AndresOreos responds:

Thanks a lot! Yes this is our first game, we have made this in only a month.
We will add an animation for killing enemies, and fix the collision issue!
Your feedback was helpful and nice.
