Serenity

This pieces seem to be a very long yet calming piece as well since it has you feeling relaxed for a majority of the song as well. The song itself is just really good feeling and makes you feel nice as well. Surprisingly long piece though, still awesome.

The beginning ambient piano note keeps playing the whole way through simply changing the notes of ambiance that it plays the whole way through. The secondary synth plays chillingly higher note standards along with being kinder.

Then you got another synth coming in that plays some quicker notes with an added echo effect attached to it here making it nice to hear. I like how the bass appears to have a booming effect as well.

The hi hat sounds great when heard. Is that a pan flute I also hear in this piece?

Overall, very long and very relaxing piece.

Yes, the flute plays the main theme in fact. I wanted it to sound powerful, slow and march-like. :D
Thanks for your kind review, as always

Classy

Well it certainly has that classy atmosphere with it. Surprised to see that this even got zero bombed too. That's just sad actually. This piece sounds quite nice as well.

The drums are softly playing and good here. The bass line is very evident and plays out a well done fast piece when it comes into play. The flute is also really nice in this one too.

This piece kind of makes you think you just won at something and are finally and happily resting. You no longer serve the kingdom and go deep into hiding to be able to relax and hopefully start a new life.

Overall, very nice, calm, chaotic, and classy piece.

Thanks for the review! Yeah, it's too bad about the zero-bombing but what can I do? Heh.

Creepy

Well I have to say you have managed to do the job of making a pretty creepy piece like this. Sounds like it would go well if someone were to be reading a creepy or disturbing story with this in the background. Reminds me of suicidemouse.avi and several other creepypasta pieces like it.

The low classy music you hear is nice anyways when it does come. Then you have low echo sounds. You got creepy high pitched and low pitched sounds. The bass is also pretty creepy yet good. So what was the inspiration of this piece anyways?

All the random sounds just seem to scream out creepypasta and the idea that this piece is just trying constantly to scare the listener. I think it is doing a nice job of it for anyone who would listen to it too.

Also considering almost every sound comes right from two kiddy video games makes this all the more creepy too. Then again it's nothing compared to how horrifying it is to hear the sound of all the K.K. Slider songs mashed into one piece.

There are some slightly relaxing areas on this song anyways so I guess that is nice and then they speed up to real fast and silence once again as usual. It just feels creepy actually.

Then around 4:20 you have a sudden loud sound and then it goes back down to normal sound while the sounds rapidly speed up with that creepy bass piece coming back to take over once again.

Then the tune tends to remain quite creepy for most of the remainder of this with what sounds like a metal fan with some parts being grinded in it to create horrid and vivd thoughts I think. This piece more or less makes me think of Silent Hill and creepypasta though.

Overall, quite creepy.

Run Mario!

Gah did I always hate chasing Shadow Mario/Bowser Jr. when this theme played. Right after returning from a hard mission hearing this simply meant it was going to be a pain in the ass chase to nowhere to get that twit. Still a very nice cover piece, had a lot of good times playing that game though.

The bass sounds very wet and lines up well with the synth. The synth sounds rather amusing and quite well done too. It has a nice rounded way of keeping the listener excited I suppose. The drums sound real nice too, nice.

Overall, good cover, good times.

Thanks! and Thanks for reviewing me AGAIN! :P

Relaxing

Well I do have to say this is a rather relaxing piece of yours. It also reminds me of Final Fantasy VIII here too. The guitar play is just real soft and I like the little after echo effect it seems to carry on as well. Seems to sound very nice for a short jam piece.

gamejunkie responds:

Thank you very much. The little after echo effect is just the guitar, because its a seriously good quality guitar. It will ring for over a minute. Not a cheap guitar!!

Cheers gamejunkie.

Funky

I feel that this one sounds really neat anyways. Kind of makes you think of some older video game themes too. Kind of reminds me of some bands and the TMNT as well. The riff is quite tasty though, good work there.

The guitar sounds quite amazing and nothing short of greatness. The bass is also very good sounding and clean as well as well as helping keep a back rhythm for the guitar. The drums kind of make me think of an SNES on this one actually, not bad at all.

Overall, cool jam session.

gamejunkie responds:

Thanks again for your kind words, much appreciated. Cheers gamejunkie.

Cool

Kind of reminds me of the opening to Beavis and Butthead actually. Not bad, not bad at all. I find that to be mildly entertaining as well. I see you added everything to this song as we;; which is great to see.

The guitar sounds great and I like how it mostly a solo for the whole song as well. I think for the hammer-on area though instead of plucking the string before doing it that you could have quickly turned up the guitar a tad bit and just had your other two fingers constantly going on and off the notes without stopping since it sounds a tiny bit better, still cool though.

The bass sounds very smooth here and also very nice on the ears. Who was doing the bass anyways? The drums sound like generic 80s drums which is nice as well. Who did those too? Not bad for a little session.

Overall, sounds really cool.

gamejunkie responds:

The lead and bass players are friends of mine. The drum kit is actually a 1970's kit, good ear you have. Can't tell you who, my friends wish to remain anonymous. Sorry. And Thanks.

Nice chords

Heh, really like this one since it seems really soft. I think it would sound great in a Final Fantasy game anyways since they tended to play a lot of songs similar to this on the soundtrack too. This song is just real soft and has almost a dream like feel to it as well which is cool. Also kind of sounds more like an acoustic guitar as well, neat.

Overall, another nice guitar jamming session.

gamejunkie responds:

Thanks, we do our best to please.

Soft

Well I like the guitar play for this one since it has a very soft feel to it as long as a very light echo effect added onto it. That just makes it real pleasing and calming on the ears and helps you relax a bit I think.Parts of the guitar play make me think of the song Breezy from Final Fantasy VIII which is pretty neat.

The bass line is just as subtle and kind as the guitar is on this one. Really like how you kept it soft and together too.

Overall, very nice, calm, and relaxing guitar session.

gamejunkie responds:

Thank you. Much appreciated kind words.

Fantastic

Have to say the guitar riff sounds pretty fantastic and for a moment made me think of Pokemon actually. Mostly it reminds me of some of the bands from the 90s though which is nice to hear anyways. I like the jam session you had going with this one. The riff just sounds great to me. Can't wait to hear the solos, bass, and possible drums that will be added.

Overall, great session.

gamejunkie responds:

Thank you. Hopefully the finished product will sound a lot better than how it is now. Thanks for the review.
