Serene

This has a subtly calming tone to it actually. It sounds like it would be used during part of a game where the hero has a few moments to relax and not fight anything at all. Very good break music anyways.

The drums sound chaotic when they burst in on this piece which is cool and then they come back and are calmed down. Like how there are also two pianos at work here. One piano plays the main tune while a second one plays some lower bass notes. The violin sounds pretty cool as well.

Overall, very nice piece of work.

I lurve me some chaos in the drum department <3.

Sounds nice

Well it feels really slow for the most part actually, not sure why.

The drums have a very nice feel to them on this one and I really like how they flow as well. The bass plays itself in a very wet way so that turned out pretty cool I think so it was nice. The synth plays some very high and funky notes I think so I really love that one too.

Overall, I think this tune sounds great for a house piece. It also sounds a bit slower which is a very nice change in pace for House pieces.

yeh 127 bpm xD and thanks for the review appreciate it

Pretty cool

Well it does sound pretty awesome anyways to me. The tune is just a great piece that plays in great capacity of itself. Like how this one flows chaos like. Cool.

The bass is super deep and wet which is pretty cool anyways. The synth sounds very hoppy and cool too. The drums are simple yet carry a nice beat as well. Like how you bring in a crystal sounding synth later to play some light notes too.

Overall, very neat song!

Temples

Yup, Zelda sure was a good time huh? Years have passed and I wonder if the game would still be fun even though some new glitches found make the game an easy breeze to finish in just a couple of hours flat strangely. Still good times though.

The bass line goes well on this piece and makes you feel welcome. The tribal style drums are cool and kind of make you think of horses running as well which is pretty neat. The stringed instrument is a relaxing one to me too.

Overall, nice tribute piece, very good sounding too.

well thats HORRIBLE!!!!

oh wait... thanks

Classy

Certainly has an odd aspect to it at least. Kind of feels like it would go well in an RPG game of some kind where you play as a very strange person of sorts too. The tune is still a nice loop anyways.

The drums are calming yet nicely fast too. The bass line is simple yet good. The synth sounds highly funky and odd to me. The other instrument that comes in also has a strange feel to it too.

Overall, great piece anyways.

Thanks for the quick review, and glad you enjoyed!

I'm glad you found it strange, that's what I was aiming for!

The synth's actually a distorted guitar, though once again it's intentionally wierd, it's meant to represent distorted reality, things you know disfigured through the eyes of the damned.

And the brass that enter near the end are meant to add to the wierd, simply because they don't sound wierd, to accentuate the point that to the eyes of the damned, something normal would seem out of place.

Anyways, once again, glad you enjoyed!

Cheers

Nice

Well it's nice to hear the very wet bass playing the main piece. Then I hear a very light synth in the back playing a soft piece. Then the piano in the foreground makes me think of Luna from My Little Pony actually. The drums sound pretty cool on this one though.

The tune plays a very good beat. It sounds pretty nice for a loop too. Would go well in a platform styled game anyways.

Overall, nice simple piece.

Yay, someone likes my drums! I'm getting the hang of this... Not sure about the MLP reference, I don't pay much attention to kids' shows based off of girly toys... LOL

That's good that it works as a short loop. I'm still thinking of ways to extend it...

Thanks for the review!

Sounding solid

I see that this is a rather solid piece to enjoy anyways. Has that really fast techno like effect to it applied. I think this has front audio portal page potential as well.

The synth sounds completely wet and very light in the background which is completely great to hear. The bass is solid, wet, thick, and mostly sounds pretty awesome to me so I really enjoy it. The drums are also great sounding as well.

I enjoyed it when it got lighter for a bit and slowly went back to becoming a full motion and bursting song. I think this song would be great if it was used in some sort of space game anyways. Excellent work.

Overall, sounds really great here.

Thanks for giving a lot of motivation to continue making songs (:

Vocals

Wow are the vocals very heavy and why the echo effect? It still sounds great though and I do like this song for the most part too.

The guitar sounds pretty great and has a crazy flanger to echo after effect I think. The bass is quite heavy and wet yet also enjoyable as well so this does quite well as a good song too. The drums are basic yet sound very good as well so I like that too.

Overall, awesome song, lots of echo effects heard.

Chaotic

What was that sound at the start? Kind of odd I guess in away since that tends to be the sound a metal detector would make if detecting metal so I guess it detected a whole lot of metal robots coming to town too!!

The drums sound rather awesome here and have a very fast pace they play at as if a robot was playing them too. The synth sounds really groovy and pretty cool I think. Really makes you think of robots going into a town and just making the place feel different. Nice wet bass too!

Overall, awesome robot song.

Psil0 responds:

Hehehe thanks man. Also, the SFX at the beginning was actually the lead synth. I applied an array of pitch bending to get the effect.

Awesome

I like where this piece goes with trying to sound a bit silly and very light hearted as well. Like how it retains that little jukebox feel to it as well. Kind of has a weird side to it as well with the very light sound in the back that plays. Would make for a cool level song anyways.

The bass line is great and pumping. The drums are quite simple and play a good beat. Nice use of playing multiple synths here too since you have a few playing one beat while another tends to come in and play a new beat on this song. the jukebox sound is also cool.

I hear a bit of a piece from the song Watch it all fly by from Newgrounds as well, cool reference piece if it is.

Overall, nice New Wave piece.

Thanks, I'm glad you get the feel of a nice little silly song, that's exactly what I was aiming for! This is a combination of everything I've learned so far and all of the techniques that I know of, so getting a 9/10 is a good feeling. The reference to that one song wasn't intentional, but at least my song brings some memories (hopefully good ones) to mind. Thanks for reviewing!
