Soft

I like the minimal use of sounds in this song. The echo effect on the voice is really nice on the ears too. Kind of sounds like really sad credit music or something that would play for the opening of a movie in a sad manner too. The song sounds nice though and I like it a lot.

The guitar sounds pleasing. I also hear a slight bit of guitar being played backward and possible electric guitar right? The flute is a very nice addition to this piece since it kind of makes the song feel maddening anyways. The drums were also kind of sporadic anyways since you never expect them to play but they sound cool.

The piano was nice sounding. I like how you also used an organ as well to make this piece sound so strange for the listener.

Overall, sounds great so far for a work in progress. Liked it.

You're hearing things my friend. There's no backwards guitar! (tho I know which sound you mean - it's an organ :))

I'm not happy with the drums yet. I didn't have a bass guitar available when doing this so the ending part with the drum hits isn't as impactful as I'd like.

Thanks for the review... and Im glad it sounds maddening and sad :)

Bouncy

Has a real boss battle feel to it anyways. Kind of like a heavy remix of a boss battle from Sonic the Hedgehog series or MegaMan anyways, both of which are pretty good series anyways. The song just carries itself in a steady manner while providing an atmosphere for a boss.

The synth sounds really good and I like how the notes linger for a moment before hitting a new note and continuing the boss like theme that plays here. The synth also has a really cool feel to it as if one were pulling out some cool swords or something.

The bass line is cool and has a somewhat nice phaser effect to it that makes it feel like a great area to the mind too. Then the drums come along and provide a beat needed to make the song complete and great sounding as well too.

Overall, very awesome boss like piece.

thanks for the review! this was the first song i made with fl studio, i were kind of newbie, but somehow, i managed to do it, (and some tutorials of course) i really appreciate your review, the only thing i see it wasnt ok was the final, its very weird xD

Calming chaos

Kind of reminds me of Kingdom Hearts actually. Reminds me of the Aladdin levels and the Castle That Never Was too. Then it all gets pumped up with a hyper feel to it that makes it feel like Tekken was added to the mix too.

The synth sounds quite hyper and gives a boss battle feel to it as if you were fighting Xemnas/Xehanort for one last time before he finally stops trying to put all worlds back into darkness again.

The bass line is pretty solid and smoothly played here as it makes you feel hyper. The drums sound really cool and I like how fast they play while keeping a main rhythm going to make you feel relaxed and calm during the boss battle too.

Overall, awesome boss battle sounding piece.

Pleasing

Well it has a real pleasing feel to it anyways. Makes out to be a really good techno song too. Also kind of has a dance feel to it as well too which is neat too. Like how it tries to keep a second overlaying sound layer to keep it feeling calm too.

The drums sound nice and have claps paired up with them to make them flow smoothly and in a great manner as well. The bass line is wet and sounds rather cool too I think. It just feels as if one were trying to be calm while listening to a hyper sounding piece.

The synth sounded real cool and plays small quick notes that also double as feeling really good and kind of make you feel as if you were supposed to be hyper as well. The song just blasts out and feels great on the ears in many good ways.

Overall, really nice techno piece anyways.

Strange pirates

Kind of has a bit strange off tempo beat don't you think? It still sounds pretty good anyways so I do have to say I enjoy that much of it at least. Really smooth beat too.

The piano is probably the only thing here that even feels the slightest bit off beat too since it seems to play at random intervals here. Kind of makes you think of a bar fight on the pirate ship anyways.

The drums play a solid smooth beat and enjoy the little quick drum rolls that come along too since it makes the song sound good. The accordion sounds really nice and I like how you give it that too since it sounds pretty cool.

Overall, really good piece though, I enjoyed it.

Thanks for the review!

Yeah I like making strange stuff, especially strange rythms, so no surprise something so simple would be rythmed like so...

As fir the piano, I'm guessing you're takling about the guitar since there's isn't any, and it's the most suiting with what you're reffering to anyways. Yeah, it kind ofwrote itself and I guess I stuck with it, it's meant to feel a bit spanish.

Again, glad you enjoyed!

Slumber

Kind of has a dream like music box feel to it on this one. I really enjoy how it feels like you were slowly drifting off to sleep and just being able to relax in your sleep. The song kind of makes you feel pretty good as well which is a nice goal to have in mind with this one.

The piano sounds so soft and yet so kind and appealing as well. It feels almost like credit music in a way. The violins are also very nice to the ears and feel completely soft to your mind as you envision nice things too. The combination just makes you feel great too.

The synth bass is pretty pumped up and feels sort of like it was an urban area as you watch over friends in a giant city of sorts too. The beeps and boops kind of make you think of Pokemon or at least it makes me think of Pokemon, kind of more or less the Magnemite family.

The drums are calm and play a great beat here too that I enjoy as well. Really enjoy how they start slowly and then come back to a moderate and good speed as they play along in the song.

Overall, really soft and relaxing piece of music. Really nice work on it.

I'm glade that this song inspired so much thought from you. It's good to make someone dance or even simply listen, but to make someone think is a greater accomplishment in my book.

Solid

Very nice and solid trance piece anyways. The song flows well and sounds pretty neat as well. It starts slow and changes to a very trance like beat which is pretty neat here for the most part as it flows well and sounds nice.

The piano at the start sounded really nice and then it suddenly changes to the trance beat.

The synth sounds really nice and I like the hopping feel it gives off as well since it goes from a high to low note and back a lot. The breakdown and buildup effects applied to it as well are very nicely done too. Really enjoyed when it played the high notes later into the song, gave it a real dance feel to it.

The bass line and drums form together to make the song sound a lot faster and really cool at the same time too. The drums play really fast triplet notes too which is just flat out nice to hear in this one since it makes you feel pretty good.

Overall, really nice piece.

Yet another great review :)

Thanks, I'm grateful that you're such a good reviewer, you can help me make better music with that :D

Eggman

Reminds me of just how much fun it was to play Sonic games back then. Not to mention the synth tended to sound a lot like a guitar at times too which was always neat to know too. Funny how they eventually remixed this and used it in Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast and Gamecube too.

The synth sounds rather amazing and I enjoyed the times where it sounded a whole lot like a guitar too since I thought it was interesting here. The bass line is funky and very wet and plays very loud in a good way too. The drum track is pretty sweetly done here too and I like it.

Overall, nice Eggman song cover.

Greasy

Well it starts out normally enough and then it explodes into a rainbow flavor later in as most dubstep pieces do. Sounds awesome though.

The deep and wet bass provides a nice main beat I think and is also very smooth to the ears I think. The drums play a nice little beat that makes it a really nice piece to listen to. The synth sounds great when it does play and I like all the little effects used to make the song sound awesome.

The dub sounds make it sound like a factory piece as if you had to escape from one and fight a super robot boss at the end which is always cool anyways.

Overall, very neat piece you have done, it sounds great.

Strange

Certainly has a strange feel to it. The tune also kind of makes me think of Mew from Pokemon as well which is pretty neat anyways. Really like how this tune played out and ended up as well.

The xylophone sounds so cheery and pleasing on the ears and helps you feel relaxed as well I think. The drums are cool and play a soft rhythm that makes it all the better too. The wet bass synth was nice and played a pretty cool yet slow effective beat I think.

Overall, sounds really neat and calm as well. Excellent loop.
