The beginning of the song sounds interesting and almost as if the song would go in an entirely different direction.

The vocals are fine as they are. One thing that I feel is off is the bass groove. I feel there could have been a more active bass rhythm to carry through the song. During the "breakdown" like area, I think it could have used a solo of some kind ending with quick hi hat hits to end it.

The claps used in the latter part of the song don't sound like they belong, if you replaced the claps with maybe something else, the sound would seem smoother in my opinion. The use of the scratchy type sounds before the vocals stop for brief periods are really out of place on this one and kind of ruin the ending for those vocal lines.

Overall, not a bad piece but could be better as well.

Not a bad tune, sounds an awful lot like a remix for the tune for the lobby music in Disgaea: Hour of Darkness actually. :o

Oh damn, strong boss battle vibes on this one. Would not be out of place for an optional Deltarune / Undertale boss battle where an unknown entity has decided to invade the realm and take all the monsters living there captive. Free them, set the dimension free, and make new friends along the way.

Definitely want to hear this tune again in the future, downloaded!! :D

What an awesome comment. THANKS.

Reminds me of older cornandbeans / Space Laces music, lovely~

Amazing work, solid slowdown and build back into the beat.

Not sure why but the whole time I heard this, kind of wondered what it would have sounded like with the bass groove being in a triplet style for some parts, kind of off topic so sorry about that.

Other than that, super groovy and loved the drums and use of Gross Beat for the later parts of the track, fantastic usage. :D

UmValent responds:

Thank you, Mika!
The bass playing triplets does sound interesting. I suppose the closest thing to a triplet feel in this one is the last part of the main melody ascending in triplets.
I'll keep that idea in mind for future tracks, though!

Aghh, reminds me of Metal Sonic, would be one hell of a fitting battle theme too, the mixing is glorious and congrats on reaching the front page with this too! :D

Only thing I would really recommend fixing up are the vocals honestly since they feel like they come out of nowhere and don't really fit in my opinion.

Not bad but the sudden jump in volume at 20 seconds in is a little jarring. Could probably have had it fade in to the main melody a little smoother? The saxophone at 2 minutes in is a very nice recovery though. :D

Gaaah, love the guitar and pounding bass on this one, amazing. <3

nstryder responds:

Thank you!! I really do think more EDM should incorporate guitars since they can convey so much power.

That bass drop, hot damn does that sound good to listen to. Absolute banger~

Smooth as hell and sounds like it came right out of an SNES game too. :D

RealBlargMaster responds:

Hey! That's too nice. Thank you for the great review and following, too!
